It can allow a person living with Alzheimer’s, diabetes, chronic illness, surgical wounds, and much more to stay in his or her own home.

You have a choice in deciding who will provide you or your loved one with in-home skilled care and this is the first step! A doctor’s order will be needed before you can start care. Once your doctor gives you the orders, the in-home skilled care agency will schedule an appointment and come to your home to talk to you about your needs and ask questions about your health to form a plan of action. The home health agency will be in close contact with your doctor and keep him updated on your progress. The skilled nursing care must be provided on an intermittent basis and be reasonable and necessary illness or injury, that needs a skilled medical professional.
